Set up Your Hair Care Routine.
Step 1: Shampoo or Dry Shampoo
It is not healthy to wash your hair every day, especially if you have thick or curly hair. Over-washing strips your hair and scalp's natural oils and proteins, leading to dryness. Depending on how oily your hair is, limit your washes to two or three times per week.
Use a sulfate-free shampoo on days when you wash your hair. Sulfates are known to cause frizz, making it difficult to manage strands. Look for shampoo for frizzy hair formulated for your hair type. If you have dry hair, for example, look for the best moisturizing shampoo available to you.
Dry shampoo, when you don't have time to shower, is your best friend. This product helps keep oiliness away and spray enough product on your roots to absorb the oil. Avoid using dry shampoo, especially if it contains alcohol because it can dry out your hair.
Step 2: Conditioner
Conditioner is essential for all hair types. It keeps moisture in your hair, smoothing out frizz and flyaways. However, don't use too much; just enough to cover the length of the strands from end to end. Applying conditioner to the roots, unless your hair is extremely dry from styling and bleaching, can make your scalp oilier faster.
Make sure you leave the conditioner a few minutes before thoroughly rinsing.
Step 3: Leave-in Conditioner
If you have dry hair or like to style and colour your hair frequently, we recommend using a leave-in conditioner on the days you wash your hair. This product will not only moisturize your hair but also make it look shinier and, therefore, healthier.
Conditioner for curly hair is best applied to damp hair before using heat styling tools. However, keep the product away from your roots, and apply it only to the strands to keep your scalp clean and oil-free.
Moisture is a must for all hair types. Keep your hair healthy by avoiding habits that dry out your scalp and incorporating ultra-hydrating products into your daily hair routine.
Step 4: Styling
After applying a leave-in conditioner, but before using styling tools, coat strands of hair with some heat protectant. Heat shields act as a protective barrier between the hair and the hot styling tool. This prevents the strands from drying out, frying and becoming dull.

Step 5: Drying
After you've finished applying all of your products, it's time to blow-dry your hair. Keep in mind that friction can harm your hair, so avoid drying it with cotton towels.
